Record
Mic and system audio. Global hotkey, menu-bar app. Zoom, Meet, Teams or in person: if you can hear it, logga can capture it.

Transcribe
Whisper runs on your Mac's GPU, Metal-accelerated, with a live transcript as you speak. Speakers identified by pyannote. Both local, both fast.

Summarise
A local model writes the recap, key points, decisions and action items. On your Mac by default; the cloud only enters if you bring your own key.

What's the catch on privacy?
There isn't one. Recordings, transcripts and summaries never leave your Mac. The complete list of network calls is above: a licence check at launch, one-time verified model downloads, and, only if you opt in with your own API key, cloud summaries. The updater in this build is dormant. All reproducible with Little Snitch or Wireshark.
Do I need to be online?
No. After first-run setup (the model download), everything works fully offline; logga can run on a plane. Your licence is checked at launch when you're online, with a 7-day grace window when you're not.
Can I use this for client or patient work?
We don't make legal compliance claims (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) on your behalf. What we can tell you: recordings never leave your Mac, so the on-device model fits the spirit of most professional confidentiality rules. Check with your professional body if in doubt.
How big is the model download?
About 3.5 GB on first run, SHA-256 verified. Stored locally. Never re-downloaded unless you delete it.
Is there a Windows version?
logga ships for Mac first, built for Apple Silicon. A Windows version is on the roadmap, with no committed date yet. Founding members will be the first to hear.
